Research interests: I am an undergraduate studying pure math (honors track) at the University of Michigan. I am interested in learning about how spatiotemporal organization and interaction networks affect biological systems. Cancer biology is a specific interest of mine; with Sethu, I am developing computational tools to study heterogeneity in cancer, and I also work on spatial mechanistic models related to cancer with Professor Marisa Eisenberg. Outside of cancer biology, I work with Prof. Eisenberg on the identifiability of systems of rational ordinary differential equations (mathematical models) using differential algebra approaches; this overlaps with my work in mathematical epidemiology, which involves infectious disease transmission models.
Fun facts: I have an Erdös number of 4. (published with 4 degrees of separation from Paul Erdös). Is that fun? I think so!
