Research interests: I am broadly interested in understanding how heterogeneity at the cellular and molecular level give rise to complex biological phenotypes. As part of my thesis work in the Walter lab, I am using fluorescence microscopy to investigate the higher-order protein organization inside cells and mechanisms of post-transcriptional gene-regulation in mammalian cells.

Fun facts: I enjoy Indian classical music, being outdoors, and “reading” about challenges in the age of the internet (I listen to audiobooks in the long hours I spend at the microscope!).
